QPR defender Matt Connolly has signed a new contract at Loftus Road. The 22-year-old former Arsenal trainee has agreed a two-year extension to his previous deal to keep him in west London until 2013. "I'm really pleased to commit my future to the club and I'm glad it's all sorted before the season starts," Connolly told Rangers' official website. "I still had a year to run on my contract so it wasn't really playing on my mind but it's always good to have your future sorted out nice and early. "My target for the season is to stay injury-free, play as many games as I can and show everyone what I can do."
