Hull City v Q.P.R.

Last updated : 12 April 2008 By Simon Davies
Brown has been dogged by a calf injury this week, but returned to training on Thursday and has every chance of retaining his place in Phil Brown's side against the Hoops.

Defensive duo Michael Turner and Andy Dawson and midfielder Ian Ashbee all picked up minor knocks against Watford last time out but have all been given the all clear while Nick Barmby is available for selection for the first time since February.

Midfielder Barmby has overcome a groin injury to hand boss Brown a welcome selection dilemma while fitness doubts continue to linger over fellow playmaker Jay-Jay Okocha.

Victory over QPR could see the Tigers claim top spot in the Championship as the scramble for promotion intensifies.

QPR should welcome Akos Buzsaky and Damien Delaney back into their starting line-up for the trip.

Midfielder Buzsaky is expected to be fit after missing the last two games with an ankle injury sustained while on international duty with Hungary.

Delaney will return at left-back against his former club after serving a two-match ban for collecting 10 bookings.

Matthew Connolly, who has been filling in at full-back, will probably revert to centre-half with Damion Stewart dropping to the bench.

Striker Rowan Vine last week underwent surgery on the broken leg he suffered in training and now begins his lengthy rehabilitation.

Back-up goalkeeper Jake Cole has returned to training following a minor operation on his elbow, but American Matt Pickens will retain his place among the substitutes.
