The striker was struggling with an Achilles problem when he first signed from Derby and has found the net just once in 17 appearances.
But Rangers remain on course for a return to the big time after a 15-year absence and Hulse is determined to play his part.
He said: "I'm settled now. Coming in when I was injured made it a difficult start for me. It's probably the most difficult start I've had when joining a new club.
"But I'm getting back to full fitness. We're at the business end of the season and it would be nice to finish the campaign on a high."
