The Holland captain is reported to have been offered to a series of Barclays Premier League clubs by Inter, who are eager to remove a player paid ?200,000 per week from their wage bill.
"I was offered him by an agent but I took it with a pinch of salt. It's not going to happen," Redknapp said. "How are we going to get Wesley Sneijder? What chance have you got? He was up there for world footballer of the year once. He's not going to be coming to QPR is he? I wouldn't see that one coming off, you have to be realistic."
Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli is another high-earning player who could be available following his training ground argument with manager Roberto Mancini on Thursday that saw the Italians grapple with each other.
Redknapp dismissed the notion Balotelli could join QPR by suggesting he did not want to work with the controversial former Inter Milan forward.
"It must be difficult for Roberto to deal with Balotelli, you only have to see the way he is," he said. "When Jose Mourinho has a problem, if he can't handle him, he's got to be difficult. Mourinho is good at his job as well.
"The boy's a good player but there's a problem there with his attitude. I don't think I could put an arm around him, I couldn't help him too much. The only person who could help him is himself."
DJ Campbell has returned to Loftus Road following a successful three-month loan spell at npower Championship side Ipswich that produced 10 goals in 17 appearances. Redknapp will play Campbell in Saturday's FA Cup third-round tie against West Brom and plans to use him in QPR's campaign to stay in the Barclays Premier League.
"I've had lots of interest in DJ Campbell. He went out on loan at Ipswich and did great, they loved him," he added. "He played against us for Blackpool when I was at Tottenham and I thought he was a real handful. He's back and available this weekend and I'm looking forward to getting him involved. I've always liked him as a player."
Redknapp confirmed his interest in Jake Livermore after working with the 23-year-old Tottenham midfielder while at White Hart Lane last season. "Jake's a good player," he said. "There's lots of time for him. He's a possibility. He's a player I like. If Tottenham are willing to do something he's someone who'd interest me."
