A 3-1 victory took the Rs to the points total Holloway set at the start of the season and he has now set another target of 72.
"To get to 52 points with 10 games to go is fantastic and I can’t tell you how proud I am," he said.
"Next Sunday we’ll have a party because it’s been a real achievement – the players have done remarkably well.
"But now I want them to aim for 20 points from 30. That would give us 72 points, which is usually enough to get in the play-offs.
"And if we do that, I’ll be singing. It won’t sound nice, because I can’t sing. Either way, this club is moving forward."
Holloway, who expects Andy Davies’ loan move from Middlesbrough to go through on Monday, added: "I’m looking for players that will take us forward from here.
"Ideally I’d like three or four to come in and help us. I’ll be trying hard to persuade all sorts of people and we’ll see what can be done."
