The 27-year-old Rangers midfielder has put-pen-to-paper on a two year contract extension which ties him to the club until the summer of 2012.
"I've really enjoyed my two and a half years here so far and I'm really pleased to be extending my stay with the club," he told the club's official website.
"I genuinely believe there's a very bright future at the club."
