"I felt we passed it well, created chances and should have gone on to win the game," said Gary Waddock. "I'd have been devastated if we'd have got nothing. But we'll keep being brave, getting the ball in the box and creating chances."
"We've got three games against good sides, so I can have a look at the players and see if they are going to be good enough to take us forward," he added.
"I can also see what we need for next year - if I am given the permanent job."

"That's my 13th game in charge, and the responsibility of trying to keep a club of Derby County's stature in this division is draining," said the caretaker manager.
"There is so much going on - what with the chairman resigning on Friday and injuries to big players - so we are well pleased to finally say we are staying in this division. We have seen with other clubs how easy it is to drift down the leagues.
"The club is in a transitional period - two consortiums are trying to buy it - and it needs sorting within the next couple of weeks so we can start looking towards pre-season.
"It's just more of the same at this club. If it's not the chairman leaving it's the director of football, or the manager or the chief scout, no-one's being replaced and these are all distractions you could do without.
"But at least now we know where we are in next season."
