Saturday's fixture at West Ham saw the welcome return of winger Gareth Ainsworth from injury but Ollie also lost Tony Thorpe for another six weeks.
Danny Shittu, Jamie Cureton, Matthew Rose, Richard Edghill, Nick Culkin, Arthur Gnohere, Martin Rowlands, George Santos and Ainsworth himself are either, injured or not fully fit.
But Ollie has been told by the new investors that there are funds available for him strengthen.
Despite money still being tight at Loftus Road the board have agreed to back manager Ollie and offer money for loan signings.
Ollie made two unsuccessful attempts to lure Les Ferdinand back to West London and has also enquired about the availability of West Brom forward Rob Hulse.
Sam Parkin and Luke Beckett are also both targets of the R's boss but both would cost more than the club can afford at this stage.
Ollie feels that he'll have to wait until January before he can bring in any Premiership talent, he said:
"I have been told there's some money there for loan players but it's not easy to bring in players who are better than those we have already.
"Championship rivals are not keen on loaning us players, while Premiership clubs want to wait until the transfer window."
