QPR MAD had been pressing the club to speak out about the future of the 29-year old without success but following Forest’s interest, Power has confirmed the departure.
Speaking to the official website he said:
“Gino has played an important part in our recent successes and I would personally like to thank him for his efforts.
“This is a new chapter in his career and on behalf of everyone at QPR I would like to wish him the best of luck for the future.”
Gino made 103 appearances scoring 5 goals after signing in July 2002. He went on to be a fans favourite and was a key member of the 2003-04 promotion team.
