Phillips doubt for QPR
QPR will check on Matt Phillips ahead of the visit of Barnsley.
Winger Phillips remains doubtful after missing last weekend's 2-0 win over Middlesbrough with an arm injury.
Boss Harry Redknapp is still without goalkeeper Julio Cesar (finger), defender Nedum Onouha (hamstring) and strikers Bobby Zamora and Andy Johnson (both knee).
Uruguayan forward Javier Chevanton could make his debut having recently joined Rangers as a free agent.
Barnsley manager David Flitcroft will select his starting line-up from an unchanged squad as his side chase their first win in six matches.
The Reds halted a four-game losing run with a much-improved display in the midweek draw against Reading and Flitcroft has no new injury or suspension concerns.
He is expected to opt for just one striker, though, with Chris O'Grady likely to retain his place and both Jason Scotland and Marcus Pedersen, who returned to action off the bench on Tuesday night, named among the substitutes.
Luke Steele (back) remains sidelined so on-loan Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland will continue, while midfielder David Fox, on loan from Norwich, is also expected to retain his place.
