Port Vale goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson will be hoping to keep his place, having been given the nod ahead of Chris Martin at the weekend.
Winger Lewis Haldane (ankle) is out, while Ritchie Sutton is suspended.
QPR boss Neil Warnock told BBC London 94.9: "We've got a tough schedule ahead of us and we are a bit thin on the ground.
"Hopefully we can give a good account of ourselves as they'll be at full strength.
"It'll be difficult I know that but I still want the local fans to turn out."
Port Vale defender Adam Yates told BBC Radio Stoke: "It'll be a good test for us. If we can put in a good performance, it will set us up well for the rest of the league.
"We'll approach the game the same as any other. We will chase everything down.
"We can't show them too much respect or they will destroy us."
