Cooper to stick not twist
Swindon boss Mark Cooper will not make wholesale changes for the Capital One Cup tie at QPR after conceding he does not have the resources.
Cooper is in the market for a couple of new faces to freshen his squad up. He is set to go for more or less the same side that drew with Gillingham last time out.
Controversial striker Nile Ranger is one player unlikely to start after playing 90 minutes at the weekend. Cooper was delighted with the former Newcastle man's full debut but admitted he was forced to overuse him.
Winger Tijane Reis is still struggling with a knee injury and is a doubt for the cup clash. Ryan Mason and Jack Barthram are pushing for starts.
Junior Hoilett remains an injury doubt for QPR.
Winger Hoilett suffered a hamstring problem against Ipswich last week and missed Saturday's 1-0 win over Bolton.
New signing Matt Phillips is still recovering from the broken arm he suffered with Blackpool in pre-season but boss Harry Redknapp has an otherwise fully-fit squad.
Armand Traore (calf) and Alejandro Faurlin (thigh) returned on the bench on Saturday and could feature more prominently while back-up goalkeeper Brian Murphy may get another run-out after playing in the first-round win at Exeter earlier this month.
