Rangers announce Palace friendly

The game will take place on the 31st July at 3pm.
Palace will travel to West London fresh from a remarkable season which saw them clinch promotion thanks to Neil Shipperly's goal in the playoff final against West Ham.
It was Dowie- formerly Rangers assistant manager during the Gerry Francis reign, who guided them to the heights after leaving Oldham in mid-season.
The friendly is the 5th announced by the R's for pre-season which includes a pre-season tour of Scotland. Naim County and Inverness Caledonian Thistle will be there opposition in mid July. Rangers then head back to West London to take on Dutch giants Ajax on July 21st and then off to the Memorial Ground for a game against Bristol Rovers on Tuesday 27th July.
Rangers preparation continue for life in the 1st division and contract talks are ongoing, rumours continue-new ones, old ones but nothing has yet been revealed by the club as official since the departure of five players.
