A draw at home to mid table side Norwich City secured the 8th draw in Harry Redknapp?s 14 games as manager of the Loftus Road outfit. QPR remain bottom of the Premier League, 3 points adrift of safety, and are in need of a win if they are to boost their chances of securing their top flight status.
Under Redknapp, QPR have won just 3 games, and are struggling up front, scoring just 3 goals in eight League Games. There has been a definite improvement in performances and results under Harry Redknapp, but the appointment of the former Tottenham manager has not had the impact some rangers fans had hoped for. QPR have now drawn four consecutive league games, and with the signing of defender Christopher Samba from Russian Club Anzhi Makhachkala, the west London side are likely to be even more difficult to beat. The signing of Loic Remy from Marseille could prove vital for their survival hopes, with the French striker scoring in the first of his two appearances for the club so far.
However, the striker was ruled out of today?s draw with Norwich City with injury, and QPR will no doubt see this result as two points dropped, with Norwich keeper Mark Bunn saving Adel Taarabt?s second half penalty. There are some strong signs of improvement for rangers, with debutants Christopher Samba, Andros Townsend and Jermaine Jenas impressing, but QPR will go to Swansea City next Saturday needing a win to give this side the boost of confidence it needs for the upcoming fixtures against Manchester United at home, and the visit to St Mary?s to play a Southampton side brimming with confidence following their impressive display at Old Trafford This week.
