Simon Royce starred yet again, as QPR Reserves played out a goalless draw at The Den.
A Rangers side including experienced campaigners Royce, Mauro Milanese and Kevin Gallen, largely played second fiddle to the Lions, in their fourth Pontins Holidays Combination League fixture of the season.
Indeed Rangers were grateful to Royce for keeping them in the contest in a one-sided first period.
In a half in which the hosts totally orchestrated proceedings, only a series of fine saves from the fit-again stopper kept the Lions at bay.
Gavin Grant saw his 15th minute shot parried by the R's custodian, before the same player lobbed agonisingly wide five minutes later.
Zak Whitbread was inches away from firing the hosts into the lead seven minutes before the break, but his close-range effort from a Neal Ardley corner was cleared to safety.
At the other end, the R's failed to muster a single shot on goal, despite the presence of first team regulars Gallen, Shabazz Baidoo and Nicky Ward.
It was Gallen who came closest to breaking the deadlock with a half chance at the far post after the break, but his effort from Baidoo's cross finished wide of the target.
Chris Zebroski squandered an even easier chance at the other end following good work by Samy Mawene and Ardley. Unfortunately for the hosts, the young striker directed his header a foot wide with the goal at his mercy.
Zebroski again got into a great position on the hour, although he opted to go for goal himself when a simple pass to the unmarked Filipe Morais looked the easier option.
Millwall continued to enjoy the lion's share of possesion as the clock ticked down, but the R's - inspired by Royce - held on to register their fourth point of the campaign.
