Reserves stay top

Amazingly, the match saw another two red cards — both for QPR, with Langley and Evans receiving their marching orders, but the result was never in doubt. Fortunately, under a new ruling this season, red cards in reserve team games are not carried over to the first team.

New signing Carl Leaburn was amongst the scorers, along with Langley, Bruce and Pacquette. Wycombe's goal, unsurprisingly, came from a dodgy penalty from which Evens was dismissed.
