Adel Taarabt set up both goals as QPR continued their flawless start to the season by cruising past Scunthorpe 2-0 to return to the top of the npower Championship. Despite not getting on the scoresheet, Taarabt was the star of the show as he caused no end of problems for the Iron defence before he was replaced in the 72nd minute. Having dispatched Barnsley and Sheffield United, scoring seven goals in the process, the R`s dominated from start to finish to condemn Scunthorpe to back-to-back defeats. Bradley Orr broke the deadlock after 17 minutes with a glancing header from Taarabt's corner. Heidar Helguson then made the points safe for Rangers shortly before the interval, the Icelandic forward clipping the ball over Joe Murphy after being picked out by Taarabt's cross.
