Rangers secured a slender 1-0 win at the Keepmoat Stadium thanks to Hogan Ephraim's strike two minutes into the second half.
The London club are now nine points clear at the top of the npower Championship and Warnock was pleased his players kept the momentum going.
He said: "I thought we stuck at it and everyone contributed in what was a good team performance.
"Doncaster is a difficult place to come so to go away with three points before the international break is a great result for us.
"The fans were tremendous and they can travel home happy and content after the way we played."
