Shane Long's late goal helped the Baggies rescue a point from a match the Rs were left wondering how they failed to win. QPR looked set to propel themselves into the top half when Heidar Helguson netted for the fourth successive Premier League match at Loftus Road. However, the west Londoners missed numerous chances and conceded nine minutes from time.
"I would be more concerned if we weren't playing brilliantly," said Warnock, whose side have now drawn four of their seven home matches.
"We have come so far. We're gutted to draw with West Bromwich Albion in a game we've dominated. If you look back 12 months ago, I think we've moved on more than anybody else in the country.
"I would like us to move on again and I think it is great to watch. I love watching us play. I am frustrated with the result, but there are not many people I would change at the minute.
"I am delighted with how we are and just frustrated we don't have six or seven points more. The centre-backs have played well today and I think they have been disappointing in recent weeks. I thought we should have beaten Man City and Norwich so that is even more frustrating."
While Warnock was frustrated, counterpart Roy Hodgson was relieved to see West Brom get the point he felt his side deserved.
"It is a good start to December, coming away to QPR and getting a point," he said. "Their record here has been good here. They beat Chelsea and ran Man City very close so we knew it wouldn't be an easy game.
"We're not unhappy with that but as far as I am concerned, every month is crucial, every game is crucial. There are only 38 games in a year and you need points in all of them really.
"You can't afford to be nonchalant about certain games in the hope that the games that come will help you out. You have to make certain you get points where you can and we took the point that I think we deserve."
