Three more red cards gave a laughable situation as nine versus nine saw Wanderers wrap the points up after Dannie Bulman laid off the ball for Simpson to drive home, taking the final scoreline to 4-1.
Sanchez had this to say at the end of the game: "Just the result we wanted after such a poor start. Maybe we can go forward from here and build on this win.
This was certainly not a tame derby by any account. Whoever we meet this season, there seems to be red cards flying about."
